This NYHC band a huge impact on the scene despite their short-lived existence(1988-1989), check the band membership and it’s easy to see why: Alan Cage, Kevin Egan, Vic Dicara, Tom Capone = Quicksand, 1.6 Band, 108, Inside Out, Burn… it’s quite a legacy, almost unsurpassed. Their debut recording was originally recorded on a 1″ tape and mixed on cassette, Dew It! has been remixed to give it the sound that was previously intended. Backed with the demo is Beyond’s live set on WYNU’s legendary punk and hardcore radio show Crucial Chaos.
An LP that is in stock for the first time since its release in 2015. Why? Because I am an idiot, overlooked because I thought it was just a live recording. My stupid. Over thirty years since I bought the No Longer At Ease LP released by Combined Effort in 1989 I know discover that I like their debut demo from 1988 just as much if not more so. And the accompanying booklet is huge and amazing!
