Bear Away – “A Drastic Tale Of Western Living” LP
The debut recording by this four piece melodic punk band from Scarborough. The rich wall of guitar got me thinking of the post hardcore of Basement, but with an added skate-punk/pop-hookiness – I don’t have a huge frame of reference for this style/sound – so RVIVR comes to mind, with some Iron Chic woah-ohs… oh, and fast tempo breaks that are like early Snuff.
