Released in 1981 by Beggars Banquet, the second studio album by Northampton’s children of the night – one of the most creative and individual bands in the history of British rock. They may have invented the gothic punk genre, but the irony was that Bauhaus were always much broader in their styles and influences, from dub, to glam, to punk, to funk; and for Mask their diversity was further expanded by the use, for the first time, of keyboards and a variety of other instruments. Includes cracking tracks such as “Kick In The Eye”, “In Fear Of Fear” and “Passion Of Lovers”.
