Another beauty from Convulse Records – a label that can do no wrong in my ears – the debut EP by Portland (Oregon) hardcore ruffians, Alienator. Remember that name. Ex members of Reek Minds, Televised, and Suck Lords channelling the best kind of 80’s hardcore aggression for a new era of Chain punk and metallic chugginess. And, bless their little cotton socks that probably smell right bad, they write tunes! Big memorable tunes. World Of Hate is about as good as a hardcore 7″ gets. Live it. Love it. Or leave it, loser.
