Back after an eight year hiatus, with a new drummer to complete the unholy trinity once again. The same instantly recognisable sonic assault that combines grindcore, hardcore and death metal into a gut churning barrage of riffs, roars and beats. Only, on this album, I find myself registering a strong Converge factor. Maybe it was there all along and I’m just noticing it more. Overall, there’s more of a Deathwish vibe. Of course, recorded and mixed by Kurt Ballou. Mastered by Brad Boatright. And, once again, album artwork by Jeff Whitehead.
