Not the No Future/North of England band, but the New Jersey Vilolators of the late 1970s – obscure first generation American punk rock (and therefore the one to score highest in the collector’s price charts) that bristles with pre-hardcore energy and bratty Ramonesy simplicity, not unlike Kraut, Stimulators, Dead Boys etc. Their one 7″ single, repressed by one of those lawless Italian retro/reissue labels.
