Debut recording of this new Swedish band with familiar old faces. Mixed and mastered by Kenko at the Communichaos Meida Clay Station 2021. ‘Clay Station’ you say? Sounds like a clue… Featuring ex members of Totalitär, Meanwhile, Warcollapse, Dischange, Exploatör… which is not so much a clue – it’s hard evidence: a full-on special-brew of modern käng/d-beat hardcore punk, it’s fast, it’s loud, it’s raw… and it’s roaring… the vocalist screams like Mower from mid period Chaos UK, which is an anorak reference, sure enough, don’t think I don’t know it, but these subtle distinctions can make the difference – in this instance, increasing a sense of desperation and fury, thereby elevating the Discharge riffs/beats to a higher level of crust glory. It’s a form of genre perfection, and if they improved their graphics you’d instantly buy a screen-print patch.
