Vegan Justice – Self-titled 7″
Hard hitting ’90s-style metalcore with a serious minded agenda encompassing environmental justice and issues of animal welfare. Unapologetic and deeply held convictions are no stranger to hardcore punk, but we all know that a bit of overly-fervent militancy in the past has sent a few bands in to some strange places (Conflict and Earth Crisis immediately come to my mind… and others, best left unmentioned…), here’s hoping Vegan Justice keep it righteous and compassionate, because, as is often the case, the extra intensity of attitude ups the intensity of the music too, and makes it that bit more exciting and spirit-rousing.
