Think I Care – “Mongrel” 12″ EP
The Boston hardcore band that were active in the first years of the 2000s. You may remember the 7″ and LP on Dead Alive Records, or the 2006 LP World Asylum released by Bridge Nine (there was also a split 7″ with Fucked Up.) 2004’s EP, Mongrel, was originally released as 10″ by Walk All Night Records. For these eight tracks Think I Care dipped into the realm of Sheer Terror for a sound that was ugly, rudimentary, and powerful. Combined with their Infest style insanity this makes for a deeply satisfying outburst of pumped-up hardcore aggression.
