Description

Ian Glasper – “The Day The Country Died: A History Of Anarcho Punk 1980-1984” – Book

The US reprint of the anarcho punk anthology/who’s who/encyclopedia, originally published in 2006 in the UK by Cherry Red. It’s expensive, being an import, but crucially, Oakland-based collective, PM Press, feels like a far more natural idealogical and spiritual home for a publication like this, more so than Cherry Red – who’s earlier, now out of print,  version seems a bit cheap and tacky by comparison to this revised one (now with the additon of recent photographic portraits of some of the featured characters).

605 pages, 16cm x 23cm.
