From the same scene that delivered bands like Drain, Gulch, and Scowl – the R.B.S. (Real Bay Shit) powerhouse Sunami finally present their debut full-length. Featuring eight tracks of beatdown heaviness that is 100% attitude and aggression, (but with a tongue placed somewhere within a cheek), delivered with understated musical precision (underneath the badass front these guys are deceptively accomplished musicians). Weirdly, reminds me of two classic bands from waay back: Fearless Iranians From Hell (for the vocals) and Pissed Happy Children (for the kick-drum rhythms).
