Speed – “Gang Called Speed” 12″EP
Chunky, heavy-hitting hardcore from Australia that also keeps it fast and light-footed with some high energy drum-propelled dynamics. Formed in 2019, the Sydney-based band have a street gang vibe but a lot of Speed’s bad-boy attitude seems directed at racism and bigotry, so power to ’em. This one sided mini LP follows the release of their demo in 2019 and the two song flexi from 2020. Influences are drawn from metallic US hardcore, namely (I expect) Merauder, Trapped Under Ice, Biohazard and Incendiary.
