Siege – “Drop Dead (Complete Discography)” Double LP
Italy’s F.O.A.D. Records managed to bag themselves the holy grail of American hardcore – the Drop Dead demo of 1984 – which they then turned into a ‘complete discography’ collection on double vinyl with the addition of the tracks from the Pusmort compilation Cleanse the bacteria, along with four tracks that were outtakes from the original 1984 studio session, plus the ‘Lost Session’ recordings from 1991 (that feature Seth Putnam on vocals). This 2023 repress also includes a new addition: a 2022 recording of “Grim Reaper” (featuring Ben Barnett of DropDead/Armageddon records on second guitar). All combined into a lavish gatefold sleeve with a foil stamp logo on the front and partial UV print, and including a booklet with rare and never seen before photos, lyrics, and original artworks.
