Side By Side – “You’re Only Young Once…” LP
The You’re Only Young Once… EP was the only release from the NYHC youth-crew band Side By Side. This new brand new repress – unlike the 12″ version with a different sleeve design that was released in 1997 with extended tracks from live/practise recordings – is true to the original, 1988, 7″ EP. This time, Revelation have reprinted the original black and white artwork, and along with the seven songs from the EP are three compilation tracks, all newly remastered. And also including a full-colour, fold-out poster with a reproduction of the original lyric sheet insert, and a large colour version of the back cover photo. Side By Side shared three members with Gorilla Biscuits, and drummer Sammy Siegler went on to play in many other related bands like Judge, Youth Of Today, CIV, Glassjaw, Project X and Rival Schools.
