Shudder To Think – “Curses, Spells, Voodoo, Mooses ” CD
Their first album, originally released by Sammich Records in 1988. The vinyl is long out of print, however, it is still available on CD, with the addition of four extra tracks from the It Was Arson 7″ (Sammich/Dischord 1988) and one unreleased song. DC post hardcore, rocking it fast, hard and melodic (not unlike later era Scream), with the mesmerising and theatrical vocal talents of Craig Wedren, a man not afraid to break-up a live set by getting out his thermos flask and having a good gargle of herbal tea. And, my guess, a probable influence on Sunny Day Real Estate and Sensefield.
