Hard-rockin’ proto-punk of the 1970s reinvented with an 80’s hardcore energy and rawness, thereby giving the Dictators, Dead Boys, Electric Eeels a mighty boot up the arse. Some classy American garage punk for the modern era, although sadly Olympia, Washington’s Rik and the Pigs imploded in 2018 just after recording two final sessions in California, released here as one 12″. Hyper-lo-fi hook-ridden punk rock n’ roll, for the fanatics who still cherish New Bomb Turks, Angry Samoans, Lumpy And The Dumpers, Hank Wood, and, of course 70’s proto punk.
