New generation Boston hardcore – all straight ahead and no nonsense: stomping beats, riffing guitars, and mean-dude vocals. This is hench. Is hench-core a thing? A strong debut release from these young’uns, not ground-breakingly original perhaps, but the execution is bang on, and these four tracks – I wanna’ hear more – could easily have been extended into a full-length. For fans of Restraining Order or Trail Of Lies, as Pummel sits somewhere between the two.
