Really excellent guitar tones and leads all over this thing from Dave Rata (Tercer Mundo, Exotica). Mateo Cartagena (Warthog, Dawn of Humans) steps behind the drum kit and really glues the whole thing together with the intense playing and insane tom fills that this style demands. Pobreza almost even reminds me of Septic Death at times with their raw ability to change tempos and maintain the intensity. A stellar debut EP from NYC totally free of any gimmickry or fashion. Recorded by the Kaleidoscope homies and packaged in a foldover sleeve with SICK multicolor screenprinting.”
