With their second 12″ release Southern California’s Overexposure are taking cues from the darker side of early-2000s hardcore punk (i.e. The Nerve Agents and The Suicide File). And they deliver it with the stampeding rush of Age Of Quarrel Cro-Mags, and a little of the twisted angst of Ink And Dagger. This is a killer release if you fancy a return to an old style of fast, melodic punk, that is gritty and aggressive, but done with a modern production.
