No Statik – “Mysterious To Ourselves” LP
No Statik are back (for the last time?) with 8 furious hardcore tracks and 3 deconstructed soundscapes. Eminent veterans of the of American punk scene, these guys have been around for some time, and not just in the guise of No Statik, but also in their numerious previous bands (Artimus Pyle, Scrotum Grinder, Replica, Destroy, In/humanity etc). I guess that explains why I’m hearing a slight echo of older classics like Born Against, Rorschach and Nausea. 300 hand-numbered copies on 150 gram black vinyl, housed in a hand made sleeve.
