Mogwai – “Come On Die Young” Double LP
The second studio album by the Glaswegian (mostly) instrumental, post-rock band. Released in 1999 by Chemikal Underground Records. The low, quiet, tension made this a slightly less rowdy album compared to others in their (almost) thirty year back catalogue. Influences were drawn not just from Spiderland (and post-Slint band, The For Carnation), but also Low, The Cure and Nick Drake.
