Mindz Eye – “True Blue” 7″
A modern hardcore-punk band from Colorado, with groove-lead riffs and a cool balance between melody and toughed-up fustration. I read in the bio: “for fans of Turnstile, Higher Power, and Title Fight”… I don’t really feel that is very accurate, but sure, it does send you in the right direction… add a bit of Ekulu maybe, (minus the NY vibe). And, yeah, there are a couple of Turnstile-esque guitar licks.
