Last Rights – “Chunks” 7″
Sandwiched between his time in Negative FX and Slapshot (and arguably better than both!), this was Choke’s one and only record with the short-lived Last Rights. Other recorded tracks later ended up on the CD version of the Negative FX album, (some of which ended-up in the Slapshot repertoire). 1984’s Chunks is such a Boston hardcore anthem, even Dinsouar Jnr had to cover it. Gifting us one of the most triumphant examples of a Sabbath-style guitar-riffery in all of punk rock history.
