Krömosom – “8 Tracks” 12″
Brain-frying white noise-punk from Melbourne, Australia. Active from 2010 until 2016, Krömosom released a couple of 12″s, this being the first, originally released in 2011. Plundering the 80’s noise punk of Disorder and Confuse, and cranking it up with some off-the-colour-spectrum levels of overdriven distortion (Gloom, D-Clone, Lebenden Toten etc) – were they senseless noise? Almost, but not quite – part the wave of sheet metal noise and you find inside a backbone of Scandi-influenced hardcore that’s not shy of a catchy ear-hook or two. Drench yourself…
