Long haired headbangers from Lancaster thrash the fuck outta their metal influences (Possessed, Carcass, Exodus, Celtic Frost – is my guess); all the while channeling some seriously sped-up hardcore-thrash into the mix (Anti Cimex, Sacrilege, Hellbastard). A mini- album (their debut on vinyl) to appeal to all fanatics on the metal-crust spectrum. Insurgency are outrageously fast, unrelentingly ferocious, and they’ve got the tightness and musical chops to pull the whole thing off, unleashing something close to war-thrash perfection.
