Is the sound of Plymouth? I have never been to Plymouth. I hope to one day, and I hope it coincides with a performance by Helpless. Helpless anywhere would be good… Further proof that the West Country possess one the healthiest underground music scenes (of anywhere) circa 2019 (although, this debut full-length was actually released a couple of years ago). Heavy most the time, fast when they need to be, and aggresively pounding the fuck out of their instruments all of the time. Essential for anyone who has ever coverted a release on Deathwish, Southern Lord or Hydra Head Records.
