The seventh studio album by the Canadian post-rock collective. Mixing up revolutionary political tension with art-house aesthetics and cosmic mind-expansion for over a quarter of a century now, and apparently, after a middle period that wasn’t all that great, this is a return to the glory of the early Godspeed albums, F♯ A♯ ∞ and Skinny Fists. (I say ‘apparently’ because I didn’t really follow their last three albums, I was always happy to merely see them play live). This album (from 2021), on one 12-inch and one 10-inch record, consists of four pieces, two long and two short, and housed within a stylish embossed gatefold sleeve.
