A trio from Lyon, with their second album: a classic French punk rock record that could have come out at any point in time in the last 40 years. Jagged rhythms with an agitational post-punk incisiveness, and so overloaded with instantly ear-snagging melodies, you’d have to call this pop punk – but that’s pop in the sense of early XTC, Wire and Wipers. Les Thugs with a harder street punk edginess, and the tunes to match. No exaggeration, one of the best punk recordings from France that I have ever heard.
