Hard, fast, aggressive and slightly bonkers. From Austin Texas, Expander are heavy-weight grinding thrash-heads, slightly blackened, who have a cool ‘nueropunk’ theme – kind of techno-dystopian, with a Moebious, Philip K Dick psychedelic-neurosis. Recorded by Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio in Salem, back in 2017. I had copies of this back in early 2018. Then I forgot about it. Then I heard it again recently and was reminded as to how great it is. People were’nt ready for this in 2018. Now it’s 2019, and a lot has changed. People are ready.
