Discordance Axis – “The Inalienable Dreamless” LP and 7″
The grindcore three piece that started in East Brunswick, New Jersey all the way back in 1992. Graduating through a stream of split releases – Hellchild,Plutocracy, Melt Banana, Capitalist Casualties– and then two albums, to a point where they were able to reach the pinnacle of their individual brand of extreme noise with the releases of The Inalienable Dreamless in 2000 on the (then) top dog label, Hydra Head. A 24 minute blast of controlled chaos, discordant and abstract, and acting as a showcase for the cranium crushing blast beats of Dave Witte (currently in Municipal Waste) – setting the gold standard for extreme/fastcore/power-violence/grindcore drumming. An album that has been out of print since 2011, now made available again with the addition of a bonus 7″ featuring tracks never before released on vinyl – “Sega Bass Fishing,” “Ikaruga,” and “Berserk”.
