Direct Action – “Tomorrow Is Too Late” LP

The vinyl reissue of the 1984 demo tape by this Canadian hardcore band better known for their Damn-Age 12” that was released by Bitzcore Records in 1988. Landspeed hardcore with political lyrics, putting them somewhere between Jerry’s Kids, N.O.T.A. and Dayglo Abortions. Direct Action have’nt recieved much recognition as an essential band within the legacy of Canadian hardcore of the 80s – mainly due to the fact, I suspect, that the Trapped In A World album of 1985 suffered from a bad production – but with the passing of time, like any young, fired-up band, this earlier recording has evolved a wonderful charm all of its own, becoming an enjoyable curiosty item for hunters of obscure punk treasure.
