Deadpressure – self-titled LP
From San Jose, California comes a debut full-length album of thirteen tracks of genre-mixing heaviness, speed and outrage-fuelled-aggression. The label hype sticker says “for fans of His Hero Is Gone, Capitalist Casualties and Spazz”. All pretty accurate. The HHIG reference is especially pertinent – they have that same vocal-lead, casscading wall of sound, that piledrives relentlessly over your prostrate broken body. Leaves you all squishy and crumpled.
