Description
Converge – “The Poacher Diaries Redux” 12″ EP
The six songs that were originally released in 1999 as part of a split album between Converge and Agoraphobic Nosebleed on Relapse Records (out of press since 2007). Remixed by Kurt Ballou, and featuring new sleeve artwork from illustrator Randy Ortiz, reworking the original concept by Derek Hess. This is the only Converge studio session to feature the drumming of John DiGiorgio (Mean Jesus, The End Of The Universe, Canephora). In terms of sound and chronology, this recording is the bridge between When Forever Comes Crashing and 2001’s masterpiece, Jane Doe.
