The highly anticipated second album by the Richmond metallic hardcore band. It follows-up the Super-Stare 7″ of three years ago. Smart-brain hardcore punks doing blast/grind/death/metalcore madness, and it’s a tsunami of devastation that perfectly encapsulates the insanity that is 2022. The previous debut album by Candy (2018’s Good To Feel released by Triple B) shared much in common with Vein’s debut full-length Errorzone in that both showed equal amounts of ultra-violent brutality and deft musical prowess. But where Vein with their recent masterpiece This World is Going to Ruin You headed into more technical, mathy direction , Candy have instead opted to explore a more straight forward, heads-down, no-nonsense stampede of rage, that shares a kinship with the aggro-stomp of Gulch. Candy would be in their perfect natural environment playing a bill alongside either of those bands.
