Another record from this Denver, Colorado band. In terms of sound production and song-writing this is a step-up from their Sweet Dreams of Violence 12″ of 2021 that came and went faster before anyone could get their enthusiastic mitts upon ’em (and so the same might apply to this four track EP). What do we call this style of extra loud, dangerously unhinged, modern day hardcore punk? Hoax and S.H.I.T. kinda started it; Gulch popularised it even further; and now every other band is in on it – placing Candy Apple alongside Spy and Scowl at the 2023 spearhead.
