Following-on from numerous 7″ EPs and cassette tapes – the debut 12″ from Vancouver’s Bootlicker stays true to the blown-out, street-hardcore violence they have become known for specialising in. Fourteen tracks that come with a 16 page zine-style lyric insert, full of illustrations by band member and visual artist Athena. Discharge song structures, with both clean and distorted guitars, which gives it a whole new frenetic energy; topped by some of the thumpiest drumming you will have ever heard. Bloody ballistic it is.
