Blitz – “Voice Of A Generation” LP
The brutal threat of defiance and vengeful thuggery, booted-up and stomping out of the grey drizzle and grime of Nothern mill towns of Thatcherite Britain. On a mission to scare the bejesus out of as many straights as possible (and they succeeded). The anthemic chants of Sham 69 and Cockney Rejects, roughed up with a Northern grit from a local tradition of Stackwaddy and Slaughter And The Dogs. This is the first time the debut album has been pressed in the US, and it comes with reproductions of the inner sleeve, promo poster and the merch insert that came out with the original No Future version of 1982.
