Big Boys – “Lullabies Help The Brain Grow” LP
As part of Touch And Go’s new series of reissues of the classic Austin, Texas skate-punk’s back-catalogue. Two years after their 1981 debut album Where’s My Towel came this classic album of punk-funk mayhem. Originally released on the Wasted Talent label and reissued in more recent years by Modern Classics Recordings. At this point in the Big Boys legacy Tim Kerr, Chris Gates and cross-dressing frontman Randy “Biscuit” Turner were joined by drummer Rey Washam – who went on to play in Scratch Acid, Rapeman, Lard and the Didjits, amongst many others.
