Description
Bathory – “Blood Fire Death” LP
The pioneers of black metal and viking metal, named after the murderous Hungarian countess Elizabeth Báthory. This was Quorthon’s fourth album – released by Under One Flag in 1988 – along with the familiar proto back metal came new stylistic traits: occasional slower tempo, acoustic passages and choral background singing; with lyrics that celebrated Viking and Norse mythology. See you in Valhalla, me old mucker, milky bars are on me.
Warning: very slight crumple/crease to sleeve’s bottom left corner – check photos (although, barely visible) – marked down in price accordingly.
