16 Guns – “On The Piss Again: Demos 1984/85” LP
An obscure London punk band from 1983-85, known, to me at least, for their contribution to one of the Mortarhate compilation albums. It’s another act of dedication from an enthusiastic American label – in this case, Queer Pills Records – dredging up obscure artifacts from the tar pits of time. Apparently, 16 Guns took their brand of anarcho-street-punk all around the UK playing the stages of pub’s back rooms with The Samples, Hagar The Womb, Red London, Death Zone, and The A-Heads.
