Mr Ra and his cosmic cohorts, running amok with their celestial energies throughout much of the 20th Century. I wouldn’t know where to begin with a Sun Ra album, so a ‘Best Of’ compilation (taken from 1964 up to 1960) seems like as good a place as any to begin. Fourteen tracks. It’s cheap too. And space is the place.
