SKAMFLAK – “Synka Alla Klockor For Midnatt” LP

Fourteen blasts of Scandinavian hardcore punk charged-up with urgency and an outlook of frustration at the way things are in 2024. Synka Alla Klockor For Midnatt translates to “Synchronize Your Clocks for Midnight”. Consisting of members of Agoni, Svart Sno, Acursed, Mass Arrest and Sunday Morning Einsteins. Not the straight d-beat template, the songs here are fueled by a lot of the late 80’s and early 1990’s melodic Swedish hardcore sound (from So Much Hate, to Manifesto Jukebox), built with inventive riffs with well crafted songwriting, which comes through even more when they drop the pace and allow for a slow, brooding tempo that makes for a welcome change from the norm.
