General Speech is becoming the primo reissue label of our age, here comes another banger. Legion Of Parasites were one of the few bands to come out of the UK’s early ’80s anarcho/protest-punk movement who embraced the hardcore preference for speed and metallic guitars. Greatly aided by possessing one of the best bass players of the era, their presence was always a blessing on an otherwise dirgey 80s compilation album as their contribution would set things alight in an explosion of crazed speed. This is a long overdue official reissue their first 12″ (from 1984). High quality, no frills, 45rpm pressing with artwork and mastering that is faithful to the original. This reissue finally makes a full lyric sheet available as well, which is made from various promo materials the band sent out with letters during the ‘80s.
