Unbroken – “It’s Getting Tougher To Say The Right Things” CD
A compilation that tied together all the non-album recordings my the legendary San Diego band. Originally released as a CD in 2000, and drawing together tracks that were recorded between 1992 and 1995: the debut 7″ You Won’t Be Back from 1992; the split 7″ with Groundwork from ’94; their version of “Love Will Tear Us Apart” from the split with Abhinanda; 1994’s Three One G 7″ And/Fall On Proverb; the Circa ’77 from 1995 (New Age). There are also four hidden live songs tagged on the end. As great as the two albums are, I always preferred the 7″s, so this is my favourite Unbroken release, the one I still play the most.
