It’is not an uncommon opinion that this San Diego five piece of the 1990s were one of the all-time best hardcore bands to have come out of California. And I’d agree – not because of the two full-length LPs per say (both great, but not all-time besties), for me, it would be because of the final two 7″ EPs: Fall On Proverb that was released by Three One G in 1994, and Circa ’77 released by New Age in 1995. Two recordings that marked the band’s closing statements, and that also captured their raw emotional intensity at their pinnacle of tightness, ferocity and song-writing craftsmanship. Both EPs are now collected together on one 12″ – a limited one-time vinyl pressing to mark the 30th anniversary – the perfect celebration of one of san Diego’s finest bands, and one of the world’s finest hardcore sXe bands.
