New Orleans’ comrades united in a split record, that allows them to contrast and compliment one another to a full-on satisfying effect. Torture Garden blaze through three tracks of heavy duty thrash, that ain’t impatrial to a subtle undercurrent of melody where needed (very much in the same terrirtory as Torso/Fucked And Bound). T’other side, The World Is A Vampire follow suit with three songs that push down hard on the accelorator, and deliver some gnarly as fuck twisted pop genius that outsmarts Deafheaven. A significant 7″ split, rounded off with screenprinted covers and handmade purple paper inner sleeves.
