SWEEPING PROMISES – “Hunger for A Way Out” LP

An unpolished gem of of post-punk-synth-pop from a Boston duo –  something like Sleater Kinney passing through a late 70s Rough Trade time warp. Lo-fi and bouncey enough to keep the punks engaged, and experimental enough for high-brow indie posers. But all the while, with enough perfectly sung catchiness and charm to win eveyone over, regardless.
