Description
Stupids “Violent Nun” CD
The early recordings by Ipswich’s notorious skate-thrash-teenage-punks. Compiling the band’s first two recording sessions: the Fat Drunk And Stupid demo from 1984, and the 12 track Leave Your Ears Behind demo from later in the same year. Eight tracks from the latter recording were released by C.O.R. records as the Violent Nun in 1985 – one of the fastest records of its day; and considering both the band member’s age, and also the prevailing trends in the UK of the mid-80s (that rarely came with an American hardcore influence) it’s a terrific debut release.
