Stingray “Enemy” 12″ EP
A five track mini-album to follow-up the Fortress Britain full-length album of 2023, a barrage of modern political hardcore punk – anarcho punk in origin, by way of metallic crust leading to Stingray sounding not too far removed from Extinction Of Mankind (consequently, trace it back to first gen ND/Sacrilege/Antisect/, too). However, this London outfit not only expand on that style, they also bring something uniquely themselves to this stench-soaked sonic template – a reinterpretation through the filter of many other wholesome influences, no doubt. The important thing is that it is all delivered loud, hard, well-produced/preformed, with memorable songs that carry a depth of meaning and self expression. Some manic guitar shredding adds another level of manic tension. Really thrilling, in fact. These guys have a scary-arse vibe that is, very much, all of their own.

Rightly so.
