SPLIT SYSTEM – “No Cops In Heaven” 7”

Two more mid-paced, 70’s style, garage-punk anthems from this Melbourne quintet. True to their Australian punk rock heritage, over-blown guitars riffin’ hard, with a beery, thuggish, aggression to slam the tunes hard up against the wall. A busy band, pumping out a stream of 7″s, each one essential, and praise be that they are still them out there that value the dear old 7″ format – it remains punk rock perfection. And No Cops In Heaven is that perfect reminder. And the sleeve’s/insert’s artwork/packaging ’tis great, too.
